Two Athletes with Disabilities Win Gold Medal in Asian Para Games Test Event

Two athletes with disabilities under Bina Netra Rungu Wicara Cahaya Bathin Social House, Fajar Tri Hadi and Firstania Kayla Amir, succeeded in achieving the test event that is held as a series of 2018 Asian Para Games event in October.

They win two gold medals in the categories of 100-meter breaststroke and 400-meter freestyle

"We congratulate and appreciate as much as possible to them, as they managed to bring a medal for Jakarta," expressed Mukhlisin, Head of Bina Netra Rungu Wicara Cahaya Bathin Social House, Monday (7/2).

Not only that, he said, both also grabs silver medals in other categories. Fajar wins silver in the 100-meter freestyle category and Kayla wins silver in the same category.

"Fajar also grabs bronze medal in the 400-meter freestyle category," he continued.

By participating in this swimming championship, the potential of the students can be channeled and increase their confidence.

"Swimming sporting exercises are not much different than the swimming pool exercises in general. The only difference is the coach and assistants who have to direct," he stated.
